Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 28, 2026
Thrive on the Shot ("Thrive on the Shot," "we," "us," or "our") operates www.thriveontheshot.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit the Site, take our wellness quiz, sign up for our emails, or contact us. By using the Site, you agree to these practices. Thrive on the Shot is a wellness education and product-recommendation platform. We are not a healthcare provider, pharmacy, or covered entity under HIPAA, and the information you share with us is not protected health information under HIPAA.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us directly: your email address (when you complete the quiz to unlock results, subscribe, or contact us); your quiz responses (which GLP-1 medication you are taking, how long you have taken it, your wellness goals, the side effects you are most concerned about, your diet and exercise habits, and your current supplement use — some of this relates to your health and is provided voluntarily to receive a personalized recommendation); and any information you include when you contact us.
Information we collect automatically: through cookies and similar technologies, we and our analytics provider collect your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and usage patterns and timestamps. We use Google Analytics for this.
We do not collect payment or credit card information on the Site. Purchases are completed on Fullscript, under its own privacy policy.
2. How we use your information
To generate and display your personalized quiz results and bundle recommendation; to email your results and, if you opt in, newsletters, educational content, product recommendations, and offers; to respond to your questions; to operate, analyze, maintain, and improve the Site; to measure the performance of our content and marketing; and to comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service. We rely on your consent to send marketing emails and to process the quiz information you choose to share, and on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with: service providers who perform functions on our behalf — Google Analytics (Google LLC) for website analytics, and Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) for email delivery and list management, which stores your email address and the quiz responses we use to personalize messages; Fullscript, when you click through to shop a recommended bundle (any information you provide on Fullscript is governed by Fullscript's privacy policy); legal and safety recipients, when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law or protect rights, property, or safety; and a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. Our service providers may use your information only to provide services to us.
4. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are needed for the Site to function. Analytics cookies (via Google Analytics) help us understand how visitors use the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Learn how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no common standard has been adopted.
5. Health-related information
Our quiz asks about your GLP-1 medication and related wellness concerns solely to personalize the educational recommendation we show and email to you. We are not a doctor, pharmacy, or HIPAA-covered entity, and we do not use this information to make any medical decision about you. Please do not send us sensitive information beyond what the quiz requests.
6. Email marketing and your choices
If you opt in, we send marketing emails through Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, and we will stop promptly. We may still send non-marketing messages, such as a reply to a request you make. Our marketing emails comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and include our postal mailing address.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain your email subscription, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, then delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your information as described below.
8. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including to request access, correction, or deletion, and to opt out of marketing. To exercise any right, email us at info@thriveontheshot.com. We will respond as required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request access and deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. To exercise your California rights, contact info@thriveontheshot.com. You may use an authorized agent, and we may verify your identity.
10. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sites, including Fullscript and cited research sources. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content. Review their policies before providing information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated policy here, and may communicate material changes by email or a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
