Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 2, 2026 Previous version: July 28, 2026
[LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Thrive on the Shot," "we," "us") operates thriveontheshot.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what choices you have. We serve users in the United States.
We are not a healthcare provider and not a covered entity under HIPAA. Health-related answers you give us — for example in our quiz — are not protected health information under HIPAA. They are treated as described below, and in some states may qualify as sensitive personal information with additional protections.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. Your email address when you subscribe. Your quiz responses, which may include which GLP-1 medication you take, your wellness goals, symptoms or effects you're experiencing, and information about your diet, exercise, and current supplements. Anything you send us by email.
Information collected automatically. IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location derived from IP, and usage patterns — collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Information collected by third parties on our pages. See Section 4.
We do not collect payment card information. We never see it.
2. How we use information
To generate your personalized quiz results. To send you emails you asked for, including our newsletter and product suggestions. To operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site. To respond to you. To comply with law.
We rely on your consent for marketing email, and on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site for the rest.
We do not use your quiz answers to make any decision about your medical care, and no clinician reviews your individual answers before results are shown.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share information with:
Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — Google (analytics), Mailchimp (email delivery), and our hosting provider.
Vitaboom, our third-party dispensary partner, in the circumstances described in Section 4.
Legal recipients, where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
A successor, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We will note any resulting change here.
4. Third-party embedded content, and what Vitaboom can see
This section describes something new. Please read it.
Our pages include content and functionality provided by third parties — including buy buttons, product cards, and other purchasing features operated by Vitaboom, analytics from Google, and email tools from Mailchimp.
When a page containing an embedded third-party feature loads, your browser contacts that third party directly. As a result, that third party may receive your IP address, browser and device information, and the address of the page you are viewing, and may set or read its own cookies — whether or not you click anything.
If you click a buy button or otherwise begin a purchase, you leave our relationship and enter Vitaboom's. From that point Vitaboom collects whatever it needs to process your order — name, shipping address, payment details, order contents — directly from you. We never receive your payment information. We may receive confirmation that a purchase attributable to us occurred, for commission purposes.
Each of these third parties handles your information under its own privacy policy, not ours. We do not control what they collect or how they use it. Review Vitaboom's privacy policy before purchasing.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used.
We use Google Analytics 4. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.
Third parties whose content is embedded on our pages may also set cookies, as described in Section 4.
We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because no common standard for them has been adopted. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by applicable state law.
6. Email
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing info@thriveontheshot.com. We may still send you transactional messages related to something you specifically requested.
7. Data retention
We keep your email address and quiz responses for as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping, unless you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know what personal information we hold about you; access or receive a copy of it; correct it; delete it; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including rights regarding sensitive personal information. Some health-related information you provide may be treated as sensitive personal information; we use it only to provide the service you asked for.
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others — have comparable rights.
To exercise any right, email info@thriveontheshot.com. We will verify your request, typically by confirming control of the email address associated with your information, and respond within the time your state's law requires. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the Effective Date above and, for material changes, note them on the Site.
